The word "heritage" was selected to connect the credit union with the early pioneers who settled in the Mid-Valley, Ore., area, the heritage of the city of Salem as state capital, and the legacy of state employees, Heritage Grove FCU President/CEO Jim Mau told the Northwest Credit Union Association (Anthem Recap Aug. 13).
