iUSA Todayi CUs step up to aid Irene victims
MADISON (9/1/11)--Chartway FCU, Virginia Beach, Va., was recognized for its efforts in aiding Hurricane Irene victims in an article that appeared on the front page of the Money section of the USA Today’s Aug. 31 edition. The article explained that Chartway is advancing personal loans to members who need to stay in hotels and pay monthly bills until they receive insurance money. “Chartway is willing to let members affected by Hurricane Irene skip loan payments.
