HandFF Radio Resources to save on airfare prevent foreclosure
WASHINGTON (1/21/11)--Sunday’s H&FF Radio program helps you find deals on flights, steer clear of foreclosure, understand financial habits, and avoid investment mistakes. * “Reconnect With Your Travel Agent for Best Airfare.” Mark Murphy, president/CEO, Performance Media, Moorestown, N.J., discusses how using a travel agent can help you save time and money when booking a flight. * “WaysHome: Consumer Foreclosure Prevention Education Interactive Video.” Margaret Simeone, vice president of marketing, Fannie Mae, Washington, D.C., shares information about a new online video that teaches homeowners about mortgages and foreclosure prevention. * “Discover Your Financial Genealogy.” Susan Tiffany, certified credit union financial counselor and director of consumer periodicals, Credit Union National Association (CUNA), Madison, Wis., explains how conducting oral interviews with elder family members may reveal why you have a particular relationship with money. * “Where You Should Save and Invest.” Eleanor Blayney, certified financial planner and owner, Direction$ LLC, McLean, Va., reveals savings and investment mistakes people make and suggests where to put your money based on today’s financial climate.
