CUNA Volunteer Institute offers credit union volunteers and committee members a comprehensive curriculum covering the issues affecting their credit unions and the movement as a whole. Featuring sessions and discussions led by industry experts, the institute prepares attendees to provide sound guidance for their organization.

“By participating in this institute, volunteers and committee members demonstrate their dedication to furthering their credit union knowledge,” said Kevin Smith, Director of Volunteer Education at CUNA. “We strive to meet that dedication by bringing them the most relevant and applicable curriculum available.”

Attendees of the institute can expect to discuss enterprise risk management, economic trends, succession planning and evaluations, coopetition, compensation strategies for the CEO, as well as a number of other topics, all designed to help volunteers make impactful decisions for their credit unions.
