A graduate of Marquette University Law School, a lawyer who practiced business and contract law, an employee benefits consultant for over 15 years and a professional speaker, Brad is recognized as an expert on health and welfare plans, and one who has also provided training on compliance topics such as COBRA and HIPAA privacy.
With over 9 years of experience serving credit unions in the employee benefits realm, Brad has emerged as a trusted and respected thought leader on compliance matters affecting America's group healthcare.
As senior vice president of regulatory affairs and reform initiatives, Annette is responsible for health care reform initiatives and strategic development at Digital. She advises, educates and supports Digital's overall corporate tactics and client support issues. She joined Digital Insurance in 2005 as vice president of operations and was later promoted to senior vice president of operations and strategic development before taking on her current role.
Prior to joining Digital, Annette held sales and operations management positions with Member Insurance Agency in Georgia, as well as John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance in Illinois. She was named "Employee Benefit Adviser of the Year" by Employee Benefit Adviser magazine in 2010.
A graduate of the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, Annette earned a bachelor's degree in finance, specializing in insurance and risk management. She's a certified insurance counselor licensed in life, health, property and casualty, is currently a board member of the Atlanta Association of Health Underwriters and serves on the legislative council for the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Carl is Digital's highly specialized in-house legal counsel, who's responsible for all benefits-related legal matters, including education, compliance administration and health care reform initiatives for clients and staff.
For much of the last two decades, Pilger has focused his practice on ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA and ACA compliance. He has successfully served in a variety of legal and consulting positions, focusing on a wide array of ERISA and employee benefits sub-disciplines. In addition, Pilger spent two years in employee benefits consulting with Mercer prior to attending law school.
Pilger graduated from Northwestern University School of Law and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
