Prepare your credit union for regulatory change and minimize risk. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) issued final rules related to mortgage servicing on January 17, 2012. The final rules amend both Regulation Z (Truth in Lending) and Regulation X (RESPA). Although the rules will exempt "small servicers" from some provisions, other provisions will apply to all credit unions servicing first lien or subordinate lien loans. Join us as we sort through the 1100+ pages of rules issued and provide answers to the many questions such as:

• What constitutes "loan servicing" for purposes of these rules?
• From which provisions is a small servicer exempt?
• What types of loans are covered by the rules?
• What is required if a credit union is not considered a small servicer?
