Rory Rowland, CCUE
Rory is a business consultant and dynamic seminar leader specializing in programs on lending, technology, leadership, and communications skills. After serving as president of two credit unions and earning his CCUE, Rory began using his communications skills and specialized background in credit unions to help others in the movement be more effective. Rory has presented his high energy, fun and humorous programs in all 50 states, as well as in Canada and Mexico. Rory is continually one of the most highly rated speakers at state and national associations throughout the country, including many of the credit union leagues conferences throughout the country. He holds an MBA in Finance and a BS degree in Economics. He is a faculty member of the Southwest CUNA management school.
Andrea Stritzke, CUCE
As vice president of Regulatory Compliance for PolicyWorks, Andrea is responsible for the delivery of PolicyWorks' regulatory services and new product development while also working with individual credit unions to provide them with training and counsel on certain regulatory matters. In addition, Andrea assists credit unions with strategic compliance program management and is a nationally recognized speaker on credit union compliance issues. Prior to joining PolicyWorks, Andrea worked as a judicial clerk for the Iowa Court of Appeals.
Jeff Andersen
In working with individual credit unions on a variety of federal regulatory compliance matters, Jeff provides strategic compliance direction while assisting credit unions with the day-to-day implementation and understanding of federal laws and regulations. Jeff also helps credit unions by reviewing disclosures and other materials, as well as conducting training to support credit unions' compliance efforts.
Prior to joining PolicyWorks, Jeff worked at the Dickinson Law Firm in the banking and business law groups and focused his practice on helping financial institutions of all sizes meet their regulatory compliance responsibilities. Jeff received his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association.
Claudine Oriani
Claudine is chief creative officer for her company, As If Productions. In her role, she customizes comprehensive and entertaining presentations on a variety of topics. Claudine's credit union affinity began in 1993. Her past employers include a CU software vendor, CUNA Mutual, and an Oregon credit union. She now partners closely with CUNA, CU Conferences, many state associations, and individual credit unions to develop their greatest asset.
Rick Menton
Rick is the president of Menton Consulting, Inc., Tulsa, Oklahoma. His consulting practice focuses on providing credit unions with strategic management and planning facilitation, project management assistance, sales training, executive recruitment and seminar and workshop presentations. Prior to forming Menton Consulting, Inc., he spent 23 years with the Minnesota and Oklahoma Credit Union Leagues in senior management positions. Additionally, he has worked as a marketing executive, lender and in collections for credit unions and consumer finance companies.
Nancy McGinnis
Nancy is president of McGinnis Consulting and Performance Consultant on behalf of CUNA Creating Member Loyalty. She has been equipping organizations with the necessary skills to achieve business objectives for over 20 years. As a performance consultant, Nancy guides and supports the sales and service culture for 40+ credit unions.
Nancy spent 2 ½ years as a senior account manager for BAI, where she achieved/exceeded sales goals by prospecting and identifying potential clients. Determining and recommending appropriate solutions was accomplished by clarifying needs, discussing relevant features and benefits and handling objections. She consistently exceeded her retention goal of her existing client base and was ranked #1 Service Provider by her clients.
In her 15 years as an independent consultant, Nancy partnered with account managers at Omega Performance and Advantage Performance to help organizations identify employee performance gaps, present recommendations to key decision makers, and if business is closed, lead the implementation process. This included: providing strategic direction and feedback through consultative meetings, facilitation of training workshops, and measuring results.
Prior to starting her consulting business, Nancy led the corporate training function for Commerce Bancshares, and managed a 125MM retail branch for a legacy bank (Boatmen's) of Bank of America.
Nancy holds a bachelor's degree in Management and Finance from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. Nancy resides in St. Louis, MO and spends her free time with her husband (Rex), her black Lab (Jax) and is a hospice volunteer.
