Familiarize yourself with the unique financial education needs of low and moderate income members. We know that moderate income consumers are struggling to afford the rising costs of housing, transportations and energy. In this webinar, you will learn about an innovative financial education program that will help members decrease household expenses, increase savings and reduce environmental impacts.

This webinar is being jointly held by CUNA and the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions.
The Center for Neighborhood technologies designed Equity Express to help increase the wealth of asset-poor households through consumer choices that are both financially smart and promote sustainable living. They will share their knowledge of cost-saving opportunities in financial planning, energy use, transportation, communication and food.
Participants will also hear how North Side FCU in Chicago has successfully used Equity Express with older credit union members, living on a limited income. These members are a resourceful group of citizens eager to apply life-lessons learned. In Chicago, the average savings for Equity Express participants has been $125/month.
