In 2011, Harvard Business Professor Michael Porter, introduced his shared value business model concept. Porter contends that to compete in a global economy, businesses should create a shared value that is a value to both the society and a value to corporate performance. This concept is a natural fit with the cooperative business model of credit unions.

This event is produced by the CUNA Center for Professional Development and endorsed by the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council.

Attendees of this webinar will learn how credit unions can incorporate shared value from the presenter's award-winning MBA Thesis on the subject.

Her accolades include being named CUNA's Marketing Professional of the Year in 2012 and one of CUES Rising 100. This lady clearly has a knack for translating ideas into action. Amy Davis

Amy is vice president of Marketing for Red Canoe CU. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing and a minor in Art History. She has been employed at Red Canoe CU for nearly ten years and carries over 14 years of marketing and business development experience with credit unions. Amy's passion for brand development and community giving has been recognized through several national awards, including the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award for their credit union's Fill the Canoe school supply drive.

Simply fax event and contact information, listing the new participant and who they will be replacing. Cancellation fees do not apply for free or complimentary programs.
