Terry Costin is the senior vice president of sales and marketing for
Credit Union National Association (CUNA). He serves the nation's credit
unions as an ambassador working to build relationships and synergies
within the Credit Union System and with external audiences to ensure the
system and its ideals continue to expand to consumers nationwide. He
is responsible for providing a fully integrated approach to reaching
affiliated credit unions with a comprehensive group of products and
services focused on organizational development, education, leadership,
and research information tools.
Costin joined CUNA in January 2004 as vice president of credit union
relations. Previously, he was involved in executive positions with
Chicago-based CCC Information Services, a technology firm providing
software solutions to the property and casualty insurance industry; and
Dinol International, a Detroit-based company focused on global system
solutions for the automotive and aerospace industries.
With more than 27 years invested in relationship and consultative
solution selling experiences, Costin believes that trust and integrity
are the critical elements to success. The quality of CUNA's products
and services drive value to our credit union clients. Our business
objective is to exceed delivery expectations and assist the credit union
in the continuous pursuit of superior business performance.
He is based in CUNA's Madison, Wis., offices, which provide education
and training, publications and Web services, research, new product
development, and other services for state leagues and credit unions.
Costin has a bachelor's degree from Indiana State University and has been a credit union member for more than 30 years.
