This course covers the key elements of CEO accountability and
performance: developing the performance plan and the performance
appraisal, objective communication between board and CEO, developing a
compensation program, and fostering a positive partnership between the
board and the CEO. Each step of the process is considered, from
preparation to follow-up, to create a model the board can use in
appraising the work of the CEO.
