Ten years business experience with five years of strategic management serving the financial market place required. Five years supervisory experience required. Five years product management experience with sales and data analysis required. Experience serving credit unions, working in credit unions is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Travel 60 days per year. RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for leadership, coaching and mentoring to product managers. Supervise and provide guidance as needed. Conduct performance evaluations at least annually. Responsible for hiring and disciplining of staff. As new product lines are added/deleted, change assignments as needed to fully utilize human resources. Manage the development and implementation of strategic marketing and operational plans to meet the long-range and short-range (monthly, quarterly, annual and multi-year) goals and objectives for assigned product lines. Responsible for implementing the strategic direction of CSS product lines. Responsible for CSS sales data. Input and output. Must have a vision for how to use the information to achieve department objectives. Must maintain the confidentiality of the data to the satisfaction of all constituencies. Build and strengthen relationships with Strategic Alliance providers and consider expanding product offerings. Coordinate overall marketing strategies within CSS. This includes creating cross-sell opportunities among strategic alliance relationships and CUNA departments, CUNA's web site, and any activities necessary to promote all CSS relationships. Also, determine involvement, if any, for specific strategic alliance user group conferences. As part of the senior management team for CSS, assist with and contribute to the strategic planning process for the department. Responsible for assisting SVP with communication to all constituencies.
