HARLEY SKJERVEM

Harley Skjervem is senior vice president of human resources and facilities for the Credit Union National Association Inc.

Previously, he was vice president of human resources.

Before taking the position in human resources, Skjervem was vice president of human resource development, now CUNA's Center for Professional Development, where he was responsible for overseeing schools and conferences, national certification programs, credit union television, and the development of training and educational materials for credit unions.

Skjervem formerly served as president of the Oklahoma Credit Union League. He also served as vice president for the Montana Credit Union Network.

Prior to his league experience, Skjervem was vice president of member services for CUNA, where he was responsible for maintaining relations with CUNA's member credit union leagues. He was also director of the National Credit Union Roundtable, a forum for the chief executives of large credit unions.

Skjervem holds a bachelor's degree from Carroll College in Helena, Mont. He has completed CUNA's League Management Institute, and is a certified professional in human resources.
