Linda L. Lilledahl

Linda Lilledahl is vice president and associate general counsel for corporate legal affairs for the Credit Union National Association Inc. (CUNA). She is based in CUNA's Madison, Wis., offices, which provide education and training, publications and Web services, research, new product development, and other services for state leagues and credit unions.

The corporate affairs division provides legal oversight for all of CUNA's business contracts, employment issues, and board activities. She also is legal counsel to the National Credit Union Foundation and CUNA Strategic Services.

Prior to joining CUNA in December 2000, Lilledahl worked in private practice in the law firm of Michael, Best, and Friedrich in Madison and spent eight years at CUNA Mutual concentrating in the areas of contracts, employee benefits, and charitable organizations.

In 1999, Lilledahl was appointed to the Great Wisconsin Credit Union board of directors; she served as board chair from 2004 to 2006.

She received her bachelor's degree in business finance with highest distinction from the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo in 1978 and a J.D. with honors from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1987.
