2011 Attorneys' Conference
This year’s conference will be held Saturday, October 1 – Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, Florida
The following information will help in planning your attendance at the conference.
Conference Agenda
This year’s conference sessions were chosen from survey responses and current areas of interest to attendees. Here is the Agenda. The Agenda will also be available upon your arrival at the hotel.
Conference Registration
- If you are an employee of a league or affiliated credit union, and have an existing account, you will need to provide your username (email address) and your password. If you do not remember your password, you can request it be sent to you via email.
- All others will be asked to set up an account, username and password.
Please click here to access registration. Registration fee for affiliated attendees is $1295. Registration fee for nonaffiliated attendees is $1395. Fees include registration, materials, conference breakfasts and all conference social events.
If you do not have the ability to access on-line registration, please contact Lucy Roidt at lroidt@cuna.coop (800) 356-9655 (4074), or Amy at alarson@cuna.coop (800) 356-9655 (4117) to receive the hard copy registration form.
Registration Confirmation
You will receive a Registration Confirmation Letter (not the registration receipt) within 2-3 business days, which will include your Personal Code which is necessary to secure your hotel reservation under the conference room rate. Please remember that you cannot make hotel reservations under the conference room block until you have submitted your paid registration and received the Confirmation and Code from CUNA.
Registration check-in is outside the general sessions and will be open Saturday from 2:30-5:00 p.m. and before the general sessions each day.
Conference Registration Refund Policy
Refunds will be issued up to and including August 24, 2011, minus a $100 administrative fee. No Refunds will be issued after August 24th. Registration substitutions accepted anytime. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Amy Larson, P.O. Box 431, Madison, WI 53701, faxed to 608/231-4881, or by email to alarson@cuna.coop.
Travel Plans
Delta Air Lines is offering a discount on fares for our event and a person-to-person reservation service. To make reservations, call Delta Meeting Network reservations at 800-328-1111, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. — 7:00 p.m. Central Time. Refer to File Meeting Code NM6P2. Major carriers fly into Ft. Myers Southwest Florida International Airport only 25 minutes from the Resort.
We advise you to make your travel arrangements as soon as possible to secure the most desirable flights.
Hotel Reservations
Please refer to the Hotel Information for more detailed information. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is August 24, 2011.
Social Events
Social events for the conference include a Saturday evening cocktail reception at the Poolside Café and a Dinner cruise on Monday evening. All events will be resort casual attire.
Breakfast for attendees and registered guests will be served Monday and Tuesday in the Center Court. Additional spouse/guest activities and spa services can be arranged directly with the Concierge.
Continuing Legal Education Credit
Included in your conference binder, will be a generic application form for each of you to apply for continuing legal education credit. Each attendee is responsible for submitting the accreditation form (and necessary materials) to their state bar associations. We will be happy to cooperate with you in meeting the particular requirements for your state. If your state requires advanced approval, please let us know as soon as possible so that information can be sent accordingly.
ABA Credit Union Committee
