Explore Commercial Financial Statements Pre-Conference

Join us a day early for this pre-conference to explore, review or reacquaint yourself with financial statements ahead of the Business Lending Certification School. Our instructors from the DFTC team will tell the story of why financial statements are so important to constructing commercial credit. We will take an accounting focus to identify what each financial statement’s parts are, how financial statements work together, and why financial statements are so important to understanding commercial credit analysis. The day will conclude with an overview of the key areas needed to manage a successful commercial lending program as we prepare to kick off the rest of the week at the school.

Practical exercises, sample forms, and case studies are included to allow class time to apply concepts learned and serve as an overview to help better prepare you for the rest of the week at Business Lending Certification School, especially for those with little formal training or those wishing to reacquaint themselves with financial statement accounting.
