Program Information

  1. Your donation will only be used as financial assistance for small credit unions to attend the 2008 GAC.
  2. The recipient's credit union will be reimbursed after the program is successfully completed.
  3. Award recipients must submit a completed reimbursement request form along with documentation of travel expenses by April 4, 2008.

Sponsor A Credit Union

A new program to support CUNA GAC attendance for credit unions with assets of $35 million or less.

Thank you for your interest in supporting attendance of small credit unions at the 2008 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference. This new program is offered in response to large credit unions recognizing the critical nature of educating legislators about what makes credit unions unique and demonstrating credit union strength in numbers.

If you already participate in GAC scholarship efforts through your state league or the National Credit Union Foundation, this program does not replace those activities.

Sponsorship Donation Form
Your donation of any amount will help credit unions with assets of $35 million or less attend the 2008 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference. The average cost of airfare, four nights lodging, and the small credit union registration fee is $2,000.

Please submit your donation pledge no later than January 4, 2008. Due to the number of requests for assistance from small credit unions, the deadline has been extended to January 14, 2008. Based on your commitment, CUNA will grant and reimburse the financial assistance. After balancing requests for assistance with supporters, CUNA will invoice all sponsors.
