  2. Can I subscribe to only one level of Googolplex?
    No. Googolplex is sold as a complete financial literacy web site for youth of all ages at all times. Some children in elementary school will find the 5-Spot level too young for them, and some high school students will want to visit the middle school level as often as they visit the high school level. Middle school students span all three levels, depending on their maturity and needs for any particular day. We recommend you use different links from your web site to take members directly to each level of Googolplex to differentiate the three magazines.
  3. How do I install Googolplex on my Web site?
    Once you subscribe to Googolplex, you will receive instructions and a web link so you can install Googolplex on your website.
  4. How many times can I link to Googolplex?
    There is no limit. You can link as many times as you want to. We encourage you to link from your pages that describe kid clubs, teen clubs, car loans, checking accounts, debit cards, savings accounts, certificates, personal loans...whatever you offer that applies to young people.
  5. Can I link from Googolplex to Guides to Independence?
    Googolplex subscribers who also subscribe to Guides will automatically see a Guides to Independence logo in the upper right corner of the C-Note bulletin board. This links to Guides.
  6. How often does CUNA update content?
    There are eight new items each month – one story and game at each level, one Instant Poll question, and one video at the high school level! You’ll also receive a monthly e-mail informing you of upcoming articles and any new updates.
  7. How do I customize the Web site with my credit union name, logo, links, and special offers?
    When you subscribe to Googolplex, you will receive a link to an online customization form. All you’ll need to do is log in and fill in the blanks. It only takes 10 minutes, and you can customize your website anytime.

  10. If my members enter any personal information on the site is it secure?
    Yes – Your members have the option of registering to create a profile on C-Note, where opt to personalize the website color scheme as well as receive an email alert when there are updates to the website.
  11. I’m having trouble viewing screens in Googolplex. What’s wrong?
    Nothing. Some pages in Googolplex require Macromedia Flash Player to view. If you do not have Flash Player already installed, you may download a free copy here. Please let us know if this does not solve the problem.
  12. I’m still creating my youth program. What happens to those specialized links to age-specific pages on our credit union Web site if we don’t have our programs in place yet?
    No problem. When filling in the customization form, you have the option to leave those fields blank. Youth who click on the specialized links will be directed to three excellent age- appropriate default stories.
  13. We already produce our own newsletter. Can we use just parts of the Googolplex newsletters?
    Yes, it’s mix and match! You can download new individual articles, high resolution art, background art, comic strips, and activities every quarter, for use in your current newsletter.
  14. Can we edit and use Googolplex stories and games in other ways?
    Yes. All we ask is that you give proper credit to Googolplex.
