John Hildreth

John Hildreth is Senior Legislative Representative, Legislative Affairs for the Credit Union National Association.

John joined CUNA on July 25, 2005 after working for nearly 11 years as Senior Legislative Assistant to a Congressman on the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee. He focused primarily on Social Security, retirement, and pension issues. John received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Richmond in 1993.

At CUNA, he serves as the primary liaison to the House Ways and Means and Senate Finance Committees. He focuses primarily on tax legislation and its impact on the credit union movement.
