Candidate Recruitment & Development

For the long term, it is not enough to simply help out behind the scenes. Recruiting and helping friends of credit unions to run for all levels of office will ensure a friendly legislative environment. Consider:

• Running for office yourself
• Encouraging a strong credit union supporter such as a volunteer board member to run
• Attending a campaign training seminar hosted by CUNA and your league
