Dear Representative Hastert:
Last week you may have read about some survey research from a group opposing bankruptcy reform legislation.
However, these survey findings are not consistent with bipartisan bankruptcy surveys conducted over the past two years by Jan van Lohuizen and Fred Yang. Enclosed is more information on the bipartisan surveys, which were commissioned by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
On behalf of America's 80 million credit union members, CUNA continues to strongly support H.R. 333 and S. 440.
