South leads U.S. in fastest hispanic growth
States with small Hispanic populations have shown the greatest growth in the past decadewith seven of the 10 fastest-growing states in the South.
In the coming decades, the geographic dispersion of the U.S. Hispanic population should continue. In addition, as the demographics shift from immigrant to native-born, and from young to mature, Hispanic consumers will become a more attractive market and represent a larger share of every consumer segment in the U.S. economy.
