Information Resource Center
CUNA's Information Resource Center (IRC) is a special library that serves credit unions, credit union leagues, and CUNA staff. The IRC collection primarily consists of credit union specific information, such as CUNA publications, NCUA publications, and surveys & statistics. It houses a credit union archives of historical materials that include speeches, photographs, and memorabilia. The IRC provides resources from the financial industry--trade journals, newspapers, and government documents. A book collection is maintained on various topics including management, human resources, and finance.
IRC staff has access to online databases, the Internet, and CD-ROMS. In addition, the IRC will frequently contact other sources for information, including other CUNA departments, government agencies, associations, and other libraries.
Services provided include custom research and ready reference, bibliographies, and a collection of credit union documents for archival preservation.
