American Association of Credit Union Leagues

AACUL Report: Protecting the Rights and Interests of Credit Union Members

THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF CREDIT UNION LEAGUES (AACUL) is a voluntary membership association for credit union leagues which are members of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).

VISION. A strong, vibrant, and progressive league system with AACUL serving as the primary source of cooperative strength, growth and development.

MISSION. Create an environment that perpetuates the success of leagues, both individually and collectively, and enhances their position as vital to the future of the credit union system.

FOCUS. Support and strengthen leagues' ability to provide mission critical functions for member credit unions.

MEMBERSHIP IN AACUL. Membership in AACUL is comprised of state credit union leagues which are members of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).

MEMBERSHIP FORUMS. The following membership meetings and professional development conferences are held annually to provide an opportunity for professional growth and a forum for exchanging information on operational and management issues. See schedules here.

AACUL IS MANAGED by an executive board elected to a one-year term at the annual meeting. The chairman appoints special purpose committees and task forces as needed. AACUL objectives and goals are implemented through the AACUL executive director. The AACUL administrative office is housed in the league relations department of Credit Union National Association.
