League's 2006 annual meeting reset for New Orleans
BATON ROUGE, La. (10/28/05)--The Louisiana Credit Union League announced it has rescheduled its 2006 annual meeting--to June 14-17 in downtown New Orleans.
The change was necessary because the original host hotel was damaged by Hurricane Katrina (eNews Oct. 26). It will be held at the Sheraton in downtown New Orleans instead.
The league continues to offer educational sessions despite being uprooted from its Harahan, La., headquarters.
November and December seminars and conferences on executive development, individual retirement accounts and opening personal accounts will be held in Lafayette, Baton Rouge and Monroe, with additional events in Jackson, Miss.
On-site training seminars on security will be Nov. 8 in Lafayette and Nov. 9 in Baton Rouge.
The New Laws and Compliance Conference, which had been set for Sept. 21-22 in Gonzales, has been rescheduled for Jan. 25-26 in Gonzales.
