Southwest Ohio CUs air radio ads prior to hearing
DUBLIN, Ohio (11/4/05)--Credit unions in southwest Ohio aired a radio spot discussing credit unions' tax exemption this week on four radio stations in the region, reports the Ohio Credit Union League.
A joint Advertising Committee of the Miami Valley, Springfield and Butler County chapters timed the ads to run before Thursday's House Ways and Means Committee hearing on credit union taxation in Washington, D.C.(eLeaguer Newsletter Nov. 2).
The ads, which cost about $3,000 total to run, were aired for three days, beginning Tuesday.
The committee is headed by Chris Gardner, division manager of marketing for Wright-Patt CU. The ad was created by the Credit Union National Association.
