Economic webinar to feature NCUA's Hyland Thursday
MADISON, Wis. (4/28/08)--National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board Member Gigi Hyland was recently confirmed as a speaker for this Thursday's webinar on the economy, offered by the Credit Union National Association.
"CU Response to the Current Economy: NCUA/Compliance" will take place May 1 at 1-2:30 p.m. (CDT) for credit union CEOs and senior-level staff.
Hyland, along with Dave Marquis, director of the office of examination and insurance for NCUA, will discuss the current economic downturn and its impact on credit unions from a regulatory compliance standpoint.
The webinar is the third in a series of six geared toward helping credit unions understand the impact to their operations from the current turn in the nation's economy. The three remaining sessions will explore investing/asset-liability management, marketing, and mortgage lending.
