This tour to Lake Tahoe will take you south through beautiful Washoe Valley, into Carson City, Nevada’s state capital, and up Spooner Summit to Zephr Cove Beach. Once at the beach you will board The M.S. Dixie II Paddlewheeler to enjoy a delightful combination of sightseeing, cruising and a bountiful array of hot and cold breakfast favorites served buffet style with champagne throughout the cruise.This unique cruise highlights the east shore and Glenbrook Bay. The narration takes you back to 19th century Glenbrook and its huge lumber mills. At the conclusion of the cruise you will travel the East Shore of Lake Tahoe to Tahoe City where you will have time to shop and explore. Then it’s on to historic Truckee City for more shopping at the quaint shops along main street before you return to Reno.

This tour starts with a beautiful drive through Washoe Valley into the state capital, Carson City. You’ll tour the Nevada State Museum and then it’s off to Virginia City for a ride on the famous V&T railroad. This is a 25- minute round trip ride on an authentic steam train. Lunch will be served at the famous Delta Saloon. Spend the afternoon visiting the many museums, shops, mansions, and churches in this richly historic town.
