Marketing/Biz Development Council Announces 2008 Executive Committee

MADISON, Wis. – The CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council announced its executive committee and officers during the council’s 15th annual conference, taking place March 16-19 in Nashville, Tenn.

Anne Legg, vice president of marketing for Cabrillo CU in San Diego, moved from her position as vice chair to be named as the new council chair. She replaces Mike Weber, vice president of marketing and public relations for Dupaco Community CU in Dubuque, Iowa, who reached the term limit as chair but will remain a member of the committee. Rich Jones, vice president of marketing for Elevations CU in Boulder, Colo., was appointed vice chair.

Four new members were elected to the committee, each for a three-year term. They are:

  • Lesley Carrell, vice president of marketing for Fibre FCU in Longview, Wash.;
  • Tyler Disburg, chief administrative officer for Montana First CU in Missoula, Mont.;
  • Michelle Hunter, senior vice president of marketing and development for the Credit Union of Southern California in Whittier, Calif.; and
  • Kerry Goodliffe Parry, vice president of marketing at Premier Members FCU in Boulder, Colo.

Four members are stepping down from the committee. They are:

  • Tim Draper, vice president of marketing for Navigant CU in Smithfield, R.I.;
  • Brynn Ammon, marketing director for First Florida CU in Jacksonville, Fla.;
  • Rhonda Summerbell, senior manager of university relations for University FCU in Austin, Texas; and
  • John MacDonald, vice president of communications for Merrimack Valley FCU in North Andover, Mass.

Additional continuing members of the executive committee are:

  • Sandi Carangi, vice president of marketing and business development for Erie FCU in Erie, Pa.;
  • Carol Payne, director of communications and marketing for the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues;
  • Susan Miller, business development representative for Delta Community CU in Atlanta; and
  • Rene' McKee, vice president of marketing for California Coast CU in San Diego.
