CUNA Marketing Council Seeks Marketing/Business Development Professional of the Year Nominations

MADISON, WI – The CUNA Marketing Council (CMC) is seeking nominations for its Marketing Professional of the Year and Business Development Professional of the Year Awards. The awards recognize and honor individuals who exemplify excellence in either credit union marketing or credit union business development.

Selection of the Marketing Professional of the Year Award is based upon the candidates’ mastery of and contributions to:

  • Marketing as a factor in their credit union’s success;
  • Marketing as a management function;
  • Fostering the success of the credit union movement; and
  • Enhancing their community through organizational involvement/activism.

Selection of the Business Development Professional of the Year Award is based upon the candidates’ mastery of and contributions to:

  • Business development as a factor in their credit union’s success;
  • Fostering the success of the credit union movement;
  • Enhancing their community through organizational involvement/activism.

A panel of CMC Executive Committee members, past winners, and industry professionals select the Marketing Professional of the Year and the Business Development Professional of the Year.

The winners will be announced at the Tenth Annual CUNA Marketing Council Marketing and Business Development Conference, held March 26-29, 2003, in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to their prestigious award, each will receive:

  • A personal profile in “The Cutting Edge,” the official CMC member newsletter;
  • Complimentary registration to the 2004 CMC Marketing and Business Development Conference; and
  • The opportunity to help select the 2004 recipient and present the award.
