MADISON, WI – You’ll be shaken, rattled and rolled at this year’s CUNA Marketing Council International Marketing

Conference by STOMP, the award winning, global performance phenomena that combines music, dance, theatre and

choreography to produce unique rhythmic entertainment.

STOMP combines the movement of bodies, objects and sounds, using abstract ideas and everyday objects in non-

traditional ways to create a modern symbiotic marriage between movement and music. According to its creators, STOMP

"takes the everyday sounds of pipes and brooms, lighters and garbage pail lids, and creates the extraordinary."

STOMP will be performing at the Conference’s general session and dinner. This year’s conference—devoted to the

"architecture of marketing"—is set for March 21-24 at the Hilton Torrey Pines, La Jolla, California.

Opening the conference will be three Preconference Workshops on March 21 (the first two are half-day and repeated in

the afternoon): "Statistical Segmentation and Targeting Techniques," featuring Calvin Bierley, Marketing Statistical

Analyst, Boeing Employees’ Credit Union, Seattle, WA; "Marketing: By the Numbers," featuring Randy Harrington, CEO,

Extreme Arts & Sciences, Eugene, OR, and Eric Duerr, Web Advocate; and "Turbo Charging Business Development (morning

continues in the afternoon)," featuring Tricia Evans, Director of marketing for Reading Works FCU, Wyomissing, PA, and

Michael DeShazo, VP Member Services, Cabrillo FCU, San Diego, CA.

Topics addressed during conference breakout sessions will include: E-mail Marketing; Business Development Strategies

Within Your Community; Understanding the Balanced Scorecard; Building a Research Plan; MCIF Use and Maximization; Media

Buying: Buying by the Numbers; Asset Liability Management for Marketers; and Lending Trends and On-line Lending, among

others.

This conference also features the Imagination Celebration, where samples of successful marketing tools of all kinds

are displayed for participants to view materials, and ask questions of the creators. Another exclusive feature of

this conference is the presentation of the Marketing Council’s prestigious Diamond Awards, which honor the best of

credit union marketing in 26 categories.
