MADISON, Wis. – i-Power - a state-of-the art data processing solution which utilizes an Oracle/SUN MicroSystems platform - will be endorsed and recommended through a new strategic alliance between CUNA & Affiliates and EPL, one of a few national suppliers of data processing systems and services totally owned by credit unions.

EPL is a full-service data processor focused on providing the premier data processing experience for credit unions, enabling them to drive business from their members' perspective. Through its expertise, EPL assists credit unions by providing an open architecture platform to support a number of applications by creating the integration/interface between its i-Power system and any third-party provider a credit union chooses.

EPL's new i-Power technology is an incredible software system," said Wes Millar senior vice president of Strategic Services for CUNA. "With a nearly 30-year history in serving over 100 credit unions, they are substantially adding on to an already impressive legacy. EPL's product, sale support, and customer support were all extremely impressive. We are confident i-Power will greatly benefit any credit union."

EPL Chairman, Gary B. Wolter, also the CEO of the Alabama Credit Union League remarked, "EPL has worked hard, over the past three and a half years in particular, to totally revamp, rewrite and upgrade its product and service capability. We are excited this hard work has been recognized by CUNA; and with this relationship, we are truly positioned to grow our company."

EPL CEO Wayne Benson adds, "Since coming to EPL last year, I have been impressed and extremely pleased at the number of credit unions who have expressed a strong interest in our new product and the truly special experience of our business relationship with each and every customer. We are working around the clock to ensure that we consistently deliver on the customer-based value propositions we set forth. We are focused, dedicated and driven to perform at the highest level for each and every one of our valued customers."
