Fully Integrated Security Services for CUs Available Through CUNA, Perimeter Alliance

MADISON, Wis. – Credit unions will have access to managed security services through a new strategic alliance between CUNA and Perimeter Internetworking™.

Perimeter’s Gateway 4.0 offers a utility-based security solution - also known as ‘security in the clouds’ - which combines dozens of technologies to create a fully integrated perimeter security service. This security solution replaces traditional firewall and intrusion detection system (IDS) monitoring services with a hosted, network-based service that eliminates the need for all future capital expenditures and integration costs.

Gateway assesses the high data security and regulatory requirements of credit unions, along with their business processes, in order to provide over 60 pre-integrated network security services that credit unions can individually select and ‘turn on’ including: Intrusion Defense, Malicious Code Defense, Secure Email Services, Secure Access, Automated Compliance and Network Services.
