CUNA adds Peggy Spangler to DC Staff

MADISON, Wis. – Peggy Spangler was hired as the director of human resources and facilities for CUNA’s Washington, D.C., offices. She will begin Feb. 4.

In this position, Spangler will oversee the human resources, facilities management, and information technologies functions in the Washington offices. She replaces Pat Sowick, who accepted the position of vice president of league relations for CUNA.

Spangler joins CUNA after a 10-year tenure as the director of human resources and administration for the National Cooperative Business Association in Washington, D.C.

CUNA’s Washington offices provide political, legislative, regulatory, legal, public relations, public affairs, state government affairs, and other services for state leagues and credit unions.
