CUNA Lending Council Conference Presents the e-Volution of LendingSeptember 25, 2001FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MADISON, WI The seventh annual CUNA Lending Council Conference is set for November 4 7, 2001, in New Orleans, Louisiana. New technologies are changing the process and pace of many credit unions’ lending programs. This year’s conference agenda synthesizes time-tested best practices with 21st century strategy and technology to bring participants the information they need to bring their credit union into the next era of lending. Two pre-conference workshops will be held on Sunday, November 4. "How to Create and Implement an e-Credit Strategy that Works" will feature Tom Berquist, vice president of Marketing for Boeing Employees’ Credit Union in Seattle, Washington. "Credit Scoring Models: A Comprehensive Primer on What’s Available, How to Use Them and How They Can Help Shape Your Lending Strategy" will feature Diana Dykstra, President and CEO of Vandenberg Federal Credit Union on Vandenberg Air Force Base in California and Chris Oldag, Senior Vice President of Patelco Credit Union in San Francisco, California. In-depth breakout sessions will cover the ins and outs of e-lending, secondary market strategies, risk-based lending and other hot topics. Conference fees are $599 for Lending Council members and $699 for non-members registered by October 19. After October 19, the costs increase $100.
