Blaine is a customer training manager for CMG Mortgage Insurance Company. In a typical year, he facilitates close to 100 training workshops for over 4,000 participants, in both live and webinar formats. Blaine joined CMG MI in 1997, following eight years with PMI Mortgage Insurance Co.Blaine was named Americas Greatest Thinker in 2005 by winning the Great American Think-Off, a national philosophy competition, and in 2011 was accepted as a member of American Mensa.
Pam Bowersox
Tracy Jean Ashfield
Tracy founded Strategic Mortgage Solutions (SMS) in 2001, which she later merged into Prime Alliance Solutions, Inc., and served as executive vice president. Currently, Tracy is President of Ashfield and Associates, which helps credit unions with mortgage lending strategy, development, policies, product design, training and strategic planning.In addition to working with credit unions and CUSOs, Tracy works with the NCUA and NASCUS to provide training and education in the area of residential mortgage lending. Tracy has helped the largest mortgage granting credit unions enhance their programs while helping those new to mortgage lending develop business strategies that have propelled them into efficient, profitable real estate lenders.
Tracy is the co-author of Credit Union Mortgage Strategies: The Best Never Rest and numerous other periodicals on credit union lending strategies.
Woody Hodgdon, CUCE, BSACS
Woody is the founder of W & D Adventures, LLC and Regulations A-Z & More. He has been a national compliance presenter for more than 17 years and recently retired from Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union after 28 years. Woody was most recently the national compliance manager at Addison Avenue and was located in their Loveland, Colorado branch. He spent three years as an agent for CUNA Mutual in northern Colorado prior to starting his management career with credit unions. Woody has been involved in credit union management, operations, marketing and compliance issues for more than 30 years and has also held jobs as interim credit union manager, vice president of operations, branch manager, marketing manager, collection & compliance manager and senior loan officer. Steve Rick
Steve is a senior economist for Credit Union National Association. He conducts economic research, teaches at various credit union schools and conferences and writes articles for CUNA publications. Steve facilitates strategic planning sessions for credit union boards and has authored a textbook on asset-liability management. Steve is also a faculty member of the economics department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.Tom Sakos
Tom is a partner with XSS Partners, a financial services consulting firm focused on advising organizations involved in the financing of higher education. XSS Partners has worked with schools, specialty finance companies, secondary markets, and credit unions to create and implement private loan programs, assist with their accounting and finance operations, conduct research, and assist with strategic planning.Tom has spent more than 25 years in the higher education finance industry. From 1984 through 2005, Tom was with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission involved in operational and financial roles and concluded his career there as the director of IDAPP, the Illinois secondary market. From 2005 through 2007, Tom was the president of FinanSure Student Loans, where he helped build one of the largest student loan companies in the country. Beginning in 2008, Tom began his role with XSS Partners.
