About This Event
Learn to organize the many components that have to do with the compliance function and help build an effective program.
Credit Unions are wrestling with a seemingly endless stream of new regulatory compliance requirements, while at the same time seeing increased emphasis during examinations on a range of issues including Fair Lending, Flood Act compliance, BSA and others. Costs of addressing these requirements seem to be spiraling out of control.
In this session, participants will learn how credit unions are effectively responding to compliance requirements without impairing their operational effectiveness and devastating earnings. Well present insights and data that illustrate best-practices for organizing, staffing and managing compliance risks. We will share pragmatic approaches for developing a compliance culture that does more than just appease the regulators. It will permit compliance risk to be managed in a more efficient and cost effective manner than ever before.
