About This Event
Stay compliant and up-to-date with consumer lending regulations! This two part webinar will cover the regulations from the RegTraC Consumer Lending Regulations module. You will learn the important aspects of each of these regulations and be prepared to take the Consumer Lending Regulations exam. This exam is one of the 5 exams required to obtain the CUNA CUCE (Credit Union Compliance Expert) designation. Bill Klewin
Bill is director, Regulatory Compliance in the Lending Solutions area of the CUNA Mutual Group in Madison, Wisconsin. In that role, he is responsible for consumer regulatory compliance for LOANLINER, loanliner.com, and other products.
Bill is nationally known for his expertise in consumer lending and operations. He is recognized as the nations expert on open-end multi-featured lending. He has spoken at numerous conferences focusing on credit union and financial institution issues, was a main teacher in a team chosen by the NCUA to train state and federal examiners in consumer lending, and is a regular contributor and columnist in various publications on lending related issues.
Bill joined CUNA Mutual in 1986 as assistant counsel and has held various positions in CUNA Mutuals Legal Department and business areas. Before joining CUNA Mutual, Bill maintained a private practice, concentrating on commercial and business law.
He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin in 1978 with a BA in History and received his Juris Doctor in 1981. He is a member of both the Wisconsin and American Bar Associations.
Bill served for 11 years on the board of directors of a Madison based credit union, including two years as chair of the board.
