About This Event

All credit unions are trying to build their brand and grow their membership and your advertising and marketing practices play a big role in this process. If you've ever been involved in a marketing project, you know it is not always glamorous and there are legal issues that credit unions need to keep in mind as well. Are you really helping your credit union with a great campaign if your project is not in compliance? It's a detail you can't afford to miss. You may be putting your credit union at risk if you haven't brushed up on your marketing compliance awareness within the past year. Now is the time to update your skills and protect your credit union by attending this Part 2 of this two-part webinar series.

Lending specific marketing compliance involves recognizing trigger terms and meeting full disclosure requirements. Make sure your credit union meets all of these requirements by attending this webinar.

This event is in conjunction with the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council.

During this webinar, you will:
  • Review specific advertising requirements for closed end and open end loans
  • Discuss fixed rate and variable rate loans
  • Examine advertising requirements under the Fair Housing Act
  • Gain a better understanding of what’s involved with lending advertising
  • Explore ways to be sensitive to disclosure requirements

For additional training please check out Part 1 of the two-part Marketing & Advertising Compliance webinar series.
