About This Event
The FACTA is an amendment to the FCRA and an important part of this amendment covers how your credit union should furnish information to a consumer reporting agency (CRA). During this webinar you will learn how to provide accurate, correct and up-to-date information, investigate consumer disputes, correct inaccurate information and notify consumers when reporting negative information.

- Determine what your credit unions policies and procedures should contain to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information furnished to consumer reporting agencies
- Learn what to do when you receive a dispute notice from a consumer reporting agency
- Establish how to respond to direct disputes from consumers regarding the accuracy of information in consumer reports
- Discuss when you should provide consumers with a negative information notice
