- Explore methods of how to deal with property that the debtor has proposed to surrender through the bankruptcy and how to deal with property that was repossessed immediately before the member filed bankruptcy
- Gain insight on how the automatic stay affects insurance proceeds and your credit union's right to offset funds on deposit
- Determine when your credit union should file a motion to lift the automatic stay and some of the various likely outcomes to filing such a motion

She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association, and is admitted to practice before the South Carolina Federal Court, District of South Carolina. She serves as the 11th Judicial Circuit's Representative to the South Carolina Bar's Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Jones is a regular speaker at the South Carolina Credit Union League and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina School of Law, teaching legal writing to first year students.
