The CUNA FUSE -- Branch Operations & Business Development School brings credit union branch managers and business development professionals together to explore blended approaches to their job duties. This one-of-a-kind conference will break down traditional barriers between these two departments and discuss innovative ideas to fuse responsibilities in order to fuel growth and streamline efficiencies at your credit union.
Industry experts will be in attendance to not only answer your questions but to show you how to get the most out of your career, motivate your staff, deliver amazing service and create a more fluid and cooperative credit union. You will also have the chance to network with specialists outside of your area of expertise and collaborate with these professionals to discover new solutions to old problems.

Instructors
Josh A. Allison, CUDE
Josh is the founder and chief ideator for Think Café, a credit union consulting company. When not consulting and speaking, you can find him fighting hard for our movement alongside you as the relationship development manager at Horizon Credit Union. From classroom to conference, Josh is a passionate public speaker who has been invited to present on a number of topics relating to youth outreach and relationship management. He has played an instrumental role in the evolution of Horizon's business development department - changing both the message and method to involve a branch-driven strategy.
Mr. Allison has assisted his credit union in being recognized for a number of awards including: the Junior Achievement Volunteer of the Year Award (2008), the Central Valley School District Meritorious Service Award (2009), the Moses Lake School District Excellence Award (2010), the WCUL Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award (2009), the WCUL Desjardin Award (2010) and an Honorable Mention for the national Desjardin Award (2010). He has also been cited in the Credit Union Times for his youth financial literacy efforts.
A Washington State native, he currently serves as the Eastern Washington vice chair of the Washington Credit Union League Youth Development Council (WCUL YDC) and as a Board of Director for Communities in Schools (CIS). Additional community involvement includes graduation from Leadership Spokane (a year-long program devoted to fostering servant leadership), the National Youth Involvement Board (NYIB), certification as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) and church membership at Valley Real Life.
Julie Ferguson
Julie is the owner of JRF Consulting Services, LLC and has been in the credit union movement for over 18 years. Sixteen years of her career were spent at First Tech Credit Union, currently a $2 billion organization. She developed strong relationships with SEG’s such as Microsoft, Amazon.com, and Google. When First Tech became Microsoft’s credit union she and her staff grew the relationship from 0 – 15,000 members in 7 years.
Julie now helps credit unions around the country create and execute focused and results oriented business development strategies, trains front line staff on enhancing existing member relationships, and facilitates Board Strategic Planning Sessions. She is a frequent speaker for CUNA and League conferences, CUES meetings, and teaches at two CUNA Management Schools. When Julies not speaking or helping credit unions grow, she can be found globetrotting around the world.
Denny Graham
Denny is the founder, president and CEO of FI Strategies, LLC. Though he has an amazing background in financial services both as a practitioner and consultant his real strength is the ability to facilitate, listen and propose practical solutions. He applies a unique combination of experience, interpersonal skills and sense of humor to craft a solution for each client.

Stacey is co-author of the book; Yes You Can! Everything You Need From A To Z To Influence Others To Take Action. She is also a featured author in the book; Conversations on Success along with Chicken Soup for the Soul author, Jack Canfield.
Stacey is founder of Stacey Hanke Inc. She helps individuals eliminate the static that plagues communicative delivery - to persuade, sell, influence and communicate face-to-face with a clear message.
She has trained over 15,000 people to rid themselves of bad body language habits and choose words wisely. She has delivered over 500 presentations for business leaders in the financial industry to the healthcare industry to government and everyone in between. Jenny Hoyle
Jenny Hoyle is the Chief Operatons Officer (COO) of Isabella Community Credit Union (ICCU) in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. As such, Jenny oversees all teller and member service functions, buildings, equipment, security, and compliance. She also works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors in areas of strategic planning, facilities planning and ALM strategies.
In her 28 years in the credit union industry, Jenny has gained a wide range of experience, serving as a teller, loan officer, assistant loan manager, branch manager, marketing director and, since 2006, COO. In 2012, she will celebrate her 24th anniversary at ICCU. Jenny is an enthusiastic credit union advocate and is passionate about promoting the cooperative structure, democratic control, member service and social responsibility that is unique to credit unions.
Claudine Oriani
Claudine’s credit union affinity began in 1993. She has worked for an industry software vendor, CUNA Mutual, and a mid-sized Oregon credit union. She now partners closely with CUNA, CU Conferences, state CU associations, along with individual credit unions to develop their greatest asset; human capital, by designing, and delivering training and development programs.
