Richard Boothby
Richard is a national executive benefits specialist for CUNA Mutual Group. Richard is responsible for the design, marketing, implementation and administration of supplemental key-employee, executive, and shareholder programs. Through his efforts, more than $800 million of informal funding has been arranged for these non-qualified plans. Richard has 25 years of experience serving in senior officer positions.
David Brehmer
David has served as First Carolina Corporate Credit union’s president and CEO since 1994. Previously, he was president/CEO of San Diego Postal Credit Union. His 28 year credit union career also includes senior management positions at San Diego County Credit Union, Torrey Pines Federal Credit Union, and Torrey Pines Federal, Inc., a credit union service organization.
Bob Losyk
Bob is an international speaker and author who leads over 100 keynotes and
seminars a year throughout the world. Bob's programs have had an impact on over 2000 audiences including many credit union groups. He has presented to The Education Credit Union Council, IBM League of Credit Unions, International Telephone Credit Union Association, National Council of Postal Credit Unions, and many state leagues and individual credit unions.
Rick Menton, CCUE, CLE
Rick is the president of Menton Consulting, Inc., Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He focuses on providing credit unions with strategic management and planning facilitation, project management assistance, sales training, executive recruitment, and seminar and workshop presentations. Prior to forming Menton Consulting, Inc., he spent 23 years with the Minnesota and Oklahoma Credit Union Leagues in senior management positions. Additionally, he has worked as a marketing executive, lender, and in collections for credit unions and consumer finance companies.
Rick Olson
Rick is one of the foremost speakers in the credit union movement and has a gift for bringing simple solutions to complex problems. Every year he speaks at 60-70 credit union events nationwide. Rick is the author of two highly acclaimed STAR modules on sales and member service, and also wrote Unleash Your Greatness, in which he shares the keys to becoming a person of impact. Rick’s speaking style is humorous, with lots of audience participation. He is the former president of a national youth organization and taught college courses for six years.
Kelley Parks
Kelley is a creative catalyst for gira{ph}. For nine years, she proudly served as
the vice president of marketing & business development for Call Federal Credit Union in Richmond, VA. Kelley's love for the credit union movement runs deep as she has been a very active volunteer both on the local and national level and innovated as a member of the Filene Research Institute's i3 (Ideas, Innovation and Implementation) team. She's an avid blogger for SharediDiz.com, as well as an editor for CUWaterCooler.com. Kelley has won numerous awards during her career including the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council's Marketing Professional of the Year. Kelley created gira{ph} to help small to midsize credit unions differentiate themselves to create chemistry with consumers and stand taller in order to seize this unique moment in time for our movement.
Kristen Tatlock, CUCE
Kristen is Vice President of COMPASS 4 CUs, LLC, a credit union service organization owned by Belvoir FCU, where Kristen serves as senior compliance officer.
COMPASS specializes in providing compliance and regulatory assistance to credit unions of all sizes. Kristen began her career with COMPASS in February 2011. Prior to joining the COMPASS team, she was the compliance and regulatory affairs director for the Virginia Credit Union League for more than 20 years. Kristen was responsible for providing compliance assistance to credit unions through publications, training and direct contacts. She developed all of the compliance training programs used by league staff and served as the liaison to the league’s Regulatory Response Committee and Resolutions Committee.
Kristen is a CUNA certified Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) and a certified Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS). She has presented programs for CUNA’s national Regulatory Compliance Schools, as well as the Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina and Virginia Leagues.
George Towle
George is a partner in The Rochdale Group, a management consulting and
project-development firm serving the nation’s largest credit unions. Previously, George co-founded The ProCon Group, Ltd., a consulting firm for credit unions, leagues, and other credit union organizations. In his capacity as co-founder and partner, George was responsible for the creation and implementation of executive programming in the areas of strategic planning, leadership, and organization development.
Al Walker
Al is president of Al Walker and Associates, Inc., a firm dedicated to helping
businesses and individuals solve problems through professional speaking, training and consulting services. Al and his organization specialize in results-oriented training programs. He is a masterful teacher and is nationally recognized for his unique, fun-loving, and humorous approach to speaking.
Herb Yolles
Herb is Region II’s associate regional director, operations (ARDO). As ARDO, Herb is responsible for managing the Divisions of Insurance, Supervision, Special Actions, and Management Services.
Herb joined NCUA as a staff accountant in 1978. Prior to joining NCUA, Herb served as an auditor for four years with the U.S. Army Audit Agency. He has also served the agency as a program analyst, director of fnancial operations, chief financial officer, director of risk management and president of the Central Liquidity Facility (CLF), deputy director of the office of examination and insurance, and inspector general.
