Robbery Prevention - New Approaches for an Old Peril
March 11, 2010
2:003:00 p.m. Central Time
Cost: $89 for the live audio conference (includes live and 6 months access to the archive)
About This Event
"Suppress this robbery, and prevent the next one" which is the philosophy of the innovative SAFECATCH robbery prevention and preparation program for financial institutions. The FBI inspired program has revolutionized employee awareness and actions in the markets where it has been implemented. SAFECATCH, an acronym, is a two pronged robbery suppression program. The SAFE prong is a preventive measure and the "CATCH" prong is designed to partner bank employees of financial institutions with law enforcement. Together, they bring a comprehensive plan to the industry which creates an environment that empowers your employees to make a difference.
By implementing "safe" strategies, employees can successfully prevent robberies by removing trigger points that allow an individual to move from the role of customer to that of a robber. The "catch" phase of the program changes the way employees respond after a robbery. Join us for this year's innovative program to learn proactive steps you can take to address the peril of robbery in ways you have never thought of.
Through this audio, you will:
- Learn what is new in robbery prevention — A critique of operation SAFECATCH
- Identify principles behind operation SAFECATCH, with commentary and suggestions for your implementation decisions
- Energize prevention efforts with enhanced levels of member service
- Review the world of robbery to determine if your policies and programs are up to the task
- Challenge the status quo in your robbery prevention program
- Discuss sample policies and training outlines
- Learn new responses for the first 30 seconds after a robbery
