About This Event

The bailouts of 2009 and the resulting moral hazard it created are not just idle concerns. Most embezzlers rationalize their behavior and will use the current environment to further justify their illegal acts. Employee theft and embezzlement is estimated to total $400 billion per year. The damage to your organization is initially out of sight and often detected only after major damage has been inflicted. Discover the conditions which attract embezzlement and effective steps to minimize the risk to your organization. Learn to look for the signs of employee theft and embezzlement and the steps to prevent a colony of embezzlers from destroying your business. You will learn the prevention steps every business should be utilizing to manage the risk of internal theft.

Through this audio, you will:

  • Learn how to enhance internal fraud detection using technology
  • Examine the most common types of credit union fraud
  • Understand why embezzlement has become such a prevalent peril
