About This Event

Through this audio, you will explore a variety of trust accounts including Uniform Transfer to Minors, totten or informal trusts, Conservatorships and Guardianships, and Court-ordered or blocked trusts.

Note: Trust and account ownership issues are based on state law and you should check with your state league or your own legal counsel for state specific issues and requirements.

For these 4 types of trusts, you will review:
  • Who are the parties and what are their roles?
  • Who must be a member in order to open or establish the particular type of account?
  • Which account agreement do we use?
  • What taxpayer identification number is required?
  • Who can open, who can close, and who can transact on the account?
  • How is share insurance calculated?
