Peer to Peer Social Media Web Roundtable

This 90 minute roundtable will continue the conversation on social media and credit unions. Kicking it off will be staff from three credit unions engaging in social media followed by facilitated questions from participants. This is NOT a webinar! Instead, this is a discussion forum hosted in a web conference format for attendees to share knowledge, insights and experiences with their peers.

Trey's focus at TDECU includes product development, social media marketing and channel integration. Last year, TDECU launched Young & Free Texas, a campaign to generate more young members. They conducted an online contest to find a young spokesperson, who then used social media to connect with other young people across the state.

Matt Davis, Director of Public Relations, Members CU
Matt began building online communities with Members Credit Union Football Pick'em in 2004. Since then, his credit union has been a mainstay on YouTube, Vimeo, Viddler, and other social media sites. In 2008, he was responsible for the creation of "What are you saving for?," an online community of savers built around Members Credit Union's new savings program with the same name. The program has earned international press coverage, including features in Fast Company magazine and Yahoo! Finance.

Shari Storm, VP/Chief Marketing Officer, Verity CU
Verity Credit Union was awarded a Net.Banker Innovator of the Year Award for being the first financial industry with a corporate blog. Blogging since 2004, Verity has also experimented with Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Yelp and LinkedIn as communication tools.
