CUNA Management School Room Reservation Information
The University of Wisconsin will be handling all room reservations directly. Students must complete the room reservation form and return to the address listed at the bottom of the form by Friday, June 19, 2009.
You can reserve a room online at www.housing.wisc.edu/confserv/index.php.
You will be staying in Newell Smith Residence Hall located at 35 N. Park Street. Each room accommodates two people. You can request and pay for a single room at an additional cost of $229.00. When requesting a single room, please pay the additional fee of $229.00 directly to CUNA (not the University).
Newell Smith Residence Hall is the first major residence hall to open on the UW campus since 1965. The new hall offers state-of-the-art security, including cameras at building entrances, card-access entry, and alarms detecting doors that have been propped open. Residents can enjoy individual room thermostats, kitchens on every floor, and the privacy of sharing a common bathroom with only two double rooms and one single room.
Your room cost is included in your tuition for Sunday, July 12, 2009 through Noon on Friday, July 24, 2009. For those arriving on Saturday, July 11 there will be an extra charge of $51 per person ($32.50 per person double occupancy) This should be paid directly to the University upon check in. They will have a bill made out for you and payment is expected at that time. Do not send this money to CUNA.
When requesting a single room, please pay the additional fee of $229.00 directly to CUNA (not the University).
The residence hall has central air conditioning and each room includes bed linens, soap, towels, washcloths, drinking glasses, telephone (free local access), high-speed internet connection, cable connection, and housekeeping service. Some suggested items to bring along:
