Scholarship Information - deadline extended!
Please take the time to fill the application out completely and return it with the requested support documentation by September 9, 2011.  Up to 30 scholarships will be awarded in the amount of the event registration fee (each valued up to $995).

Conditions of Eligibility                                                  

  • Applicant must be a credit union employee or volunteer
  • The applicant’s credit union must be affiliated with their league/CUNA during the program for which scholarship funds are being requested
  • The applicant must stay at the designated conference hotel
  • Scholarships are available regardless of charter type (i.e., not just for community chartered credit unions)


Selection

Applications will be reviewed by the CUNA Community Credit Union & Growth Conference Scholarship Committee.

Award Notification

Notification will be made by September 15, 2011.

Application Procedures

The completed application and supporting materials must be submitted as a package and received by CUNA no later than the deadline of September 9, 2011.

Optional Tour for Attendees & Guests
Sonoma Wine Country Tour                   $125/person
Monday, October 24 – 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., includes boxed lunch

Explore one of the finest wine-producing regions in the nation, California’s Sonoma Valley. Enjoy a narrated motor coach ride followed by private tours and tastings at the Sebastiani and Gloria Ferrer Wineries.

The guest program is for spouses/companions of registered attendees. Credit union employees or volunteers and suppliers are not eligible to register under this category.

Registration Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and refund requests received by September 23, 2011 are subject to a 25% administrative fee on the order total. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after September 23, 2011. All cancellations must be received in writing by faxing 608-231-4998 or e-mailing round@cuna.com. Substitutions are accepted any time prior to the start of the program at no additional cost. Complete an updated registration form listing the new participant and note the name of the attendee they will be replacing. Submit the revised registration by faxing 608-231-4998 or e-mailing round@cuna.coop.


Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits

CUNA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 150 Fourth Avenue North, Suite 700, Nashville, TN, 37219-2417.

CPE Credits: You can earn 15 group-live CPE credit hours for the Community Credit Union & Growth Conference. No advance preparation or prerequisites are required. For more information regarding administrative policies, such as complaints and refunds, please contact CUNA at 800-356-9655, ext. 5700.


Exhibitor Information

Exhibitors should go to b2cu.cuna.org to register. Note that non-exhibitors or representatives of non-exhibiting companies may not register as participants or guests and may not canvas or solicit business or distribute literature in another company's exhibit booth, conference hotel, or conference meeting areas without written permission from CUNA.
