Frequently asked questions for self-directed option

How do I transfer credits to the program?
Any credits you’ve earned prior to enrolling in the program will be considered “transfer credits”. Transfer credits will be considered regardless of the course work completion date. To be eligible, you must have received a passing grade on the exam that is shown in your CUNA transcript. Transfers are allowed based on the limits specified for each area of study and/or track.

How do I view my transcript?
To view your transcript:

  1. Visit training.cuna.org and choose CPDOnline, then Log in OR Log in here.
  2. New students, register under the New Student Registration. Returning students, log in using your username and password.
  3. In the Getting Started box on the left-hand side, select View My Training Transcript link.

If you prefer to see your course codes in your transcript, please select ‘printable transcript’ located above the transcript text in the right margin.

What are the exams like?
Examinations vary in length depending on the type of learning activity. All examinations are multiple choice and are graded on a pass/fail basis. They are also un-proctored and “open book.”

Recertification Information
Your certification will need to be renewed every three years. For more information about recertification, click here.

Are there any learning activities?
Many learning activities will be offered on an ongoing basis. Some credit options through the schools and conferences will change regularly.
